After I was done installing the new plugs and coils, I started the car and immediately noticed how much smoother the idle was. Good Info Thanks for the info on this thread, I ordered 245/35/19 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires for my 2015 S3 with Magnetic Ride and ECS Tuning flush spacer kit. I'll post pictures of how they fit after they get installed tomorrow. Tires are the best mod, I can't wait to be off these Continentals :laugh:

My car has smaller brakes than yours, so I was able to downsize to a 245 45R17 for winter use from the 255 35R19 summers and the car is so much smoother but still can handle just as good.

Not true, many VW 4cyls came with forged cranks and pistons, the slugs in my TT are Mahle and known to handle over 400hp easily, the only things you need for a 1.8T to be basically bulletproof are forged rods and a new timing belt kit.

I'll repeat the recommendation for the General Arctic Altimax and currently have them on my 2012 Golf. My previous Audi A4 had Blizzaks in the winter, they handled poorly (soft sidewalls) and wore very quickly but stuck well in our wet snow.

We previously had the Signatures on our Avant and I did not care for them. They were far less sporty than the A/S3s that are on one of our other cars now and also wore poorly and became pretty noisy as they wore. They had sort of a "blocky" feeling to me.
