My 15 S4 has seen 3 oils in <10k miles. The factory fill was Fuchs. Dealer first change was PP Euro and my latest change the other week was with M1. I've run M1 0w40 Euro in my B5 forever and have had 0 issues with it. Saw no reason to not continue running it in the B8.
Reviews of spare parts for Audi
I use Motul 300V Power 5w40 for my Stage 2 tuned S5 3.0 TFSI.
Front Big Brake Kit, 17z front brake calipers, 330mm x 32mm rotors, EBC redstuff pads
250,000 KM and still on the original alternator ( 1998 Audi A4 . Bosch 120 Amp Alternator ) . Had to replace a couple of bearings but that's it.
I run Redline 5w-40. I do not use the 'Euro' formula version, but the regular 5w-40 meets the VAG oil specs for a (2012) TT-RS. I used to run Mobile 1 0w-40, but I believe that Redline, Amsoil, Motul, and a few others are a higher quality oil (ex: Ester base stocks for Redline and Motul 300v).
The limiting factor was tire grip Oregon Raceway Park (ORP), clockwise one day and counter clockwise the next, is hard on the brakes, tires and suspension with the hardest braking zones being downhill and the brakes did not complain both days. GiroDisc is definitely doing its thing and the HPA rear BBK is doing its part.
I run the OE Castrol because I still have CPO warranty for another year.
I had red stuff on my old A4. Had no complaints.
Solid TRE are off a B5 S4. I changed them a while back, opted for Lemforder, not that much change in the driving feeling just eliminating 1 extra spot for rubber to get all worn out.
In my TT, I had been using orange colored Rain-X washer fluid in my car for nearly 2 years... It finally reached critical mass in my car at the beginning of September. Yellow fill washer fluid light has been on for weeks despite the tank being full.
