AWD with winter tires is like a cheat code for winter driving. I used Nokian Hakkas on my old Audi and it made winter driving actually fun and enjoyable.
Reviews of spare parts for Audi
I've had good luck with a set of General tires on my A4. The General tires cost less and perform better in every way so far.
That’s what I paid to have the timing belt done on my Audi A4 at an Audi independent shop.
Get the Zimmerman rotors (I got the drilled) and Akebono pads. They are awesome!!
When my Mk6 was at 100k+ and burning up oil every 2500-3k miles, I got a tip from an old audi master tech to use BG MOA additive with every oil change. Cleared up the consumption and let me get up to healthy 5k changes with plenty of oil left. Drove it to 185k still running like a top.
I have an 06 Audi A3 2.0T Sportback with just over 105k miles; recently replaced the thermostat, spark plugs and coil packs. Other than being in need of some new brakes and a bit of cosmetic love, she's running strong.
Had this happen to our 2018 Q5 a few months back, 35k miles on the SUV. Thermostat issue plus some other stuff.
Aside from eating tires and brakes like they’re crabby patties, we’ve had zero issues on the car. Tires seem to go every 25 - 30K miles and we seem to be changing front brakes every 25K and rears at every 30K.
2012 B8 A4. Got it up to 400k km before the engine grenade. "Cracked piston " in cylinder 3.
Spouse has a 2021 etron, (some issues, inc battery recall), I had a 2022 etron with many issues which prompted my change to a 2025 SQ6. I’ve written to Audi Canada so many times regarding the etron issues with no resolution on any of them. I like the SQ6 but this will be my last Audi - worst experience I’ve ever had with any vehicle and manufacturer.
