I’ve used Pentosin Pentofrost NF, it’s the same as OEM
Reviews of spare parts for BMW
I always used redline 5w50 on my S65 runs very well and redline has a great reputation of quality oil especially for its high performance cars. Takes less time to warm up too in low temperature climates.
But for the love of god use the blue stuff. Preferably the correct brand but I couldn't find any in my hick-ass town so I used Prestone and I haven't noticed any ill effects
Plugs are by BOSCH. Post this job, it runs a lot better, and I mean a loooot!
Febi new calipers at FCP euro are 44$ each. I’m not rebuilding them when they are that cheap. Plus you don’t have to send in cores. My labor is worth more than the 20$ savings.
Beru is the best.
I just do the liqui moly. Also I change my oil well before the BMW recommended 10k.
It’s still baffles me how BMW can’t get a quality water pump on its vehicles.
I purchased a new expansion tank for my BMW e46. Initially, I opted for a Dorman expansion tank from AutoZone, but I wasn’t entirely convinced by my choice. Unfortunately, I observed that the AutoZone tank was leaking from the top, which left me puzzled. I wondered if this issue was due to it being an aftermarket part. This year alone, I’ve had to replace the tank five times, which has been quite frustrating.
Falken RT615k+ on BMW 135i here. They are toast with less than 5k miles on them.
