I have a BMW e36 and it is standard practice to run an extra quart of oil at the track to prevent oil starvation and lifter tick. I have been doing it for years with dozens of track days along with many other people I know with no issues.
Reviews of spare parts for BMW
Nekem Bosch Areo akármi van, 9 év alatt csak 2-őt fogyasztottam, ilyen légterelő van rajta, rászorítja az üvegre. M3-on zivatar közben 150-nél... izé, 130-nánál is tökéletesen láttam. Elírtam. Strapabíró, masszív, jól töröl, nem is volt olcsó. Jah, munkaautó, 23 éves, de jól karbantartott BMW E46. Semmi speckó üveg.
I embarked on the full M3 control arms for the front some rear. The M3 arms have more solid less isolated bushings. It was amazing how much road feel you get back. Some people can’t take the NVH, and go back.
I’ve never had an issue with my Bremi coils. Just replaced the suppression tubes. M50/M52 coils very rarely fail. Just the tubes.
Fuchs Titan GT1 5w30.
Slower but vastly more durable tire > outright pace for an 8 hour enduro. And the answer to that is, as always, Hankook RS4.
5W40 Castrol Euro. I get less oil consumption than 5w-30 and it seems to run a bit more smoothly.
Hey, just thought I would chime in that I had this same issue with my f30 335i and I probably found those same forum posts. I used the same ATE 200 in prep for a track day, started squeaking and thought it was the master cylinder, or just the brake pedal… then changed out for pentosin for 4 and it resolved it. Took a couple flushes to cycle it all out of the master cylinder though. But yeah, I can guarantee it’s just the fluid, but it may take a couple flushes like I mentioned.
I put Bilstein on and although I loved the way it handled at speed, it was otherwise a disaster, way too stiff and raised the ride height, considerably due to the fact that they were dimensionally incorrect.
meyle is garbage.
