BRZ is roomier, neutral steering and has the best feel brakes of any car that I’ve owned including the S2k.
Reviews of spare parts for Subaru
2013 3.6R and it's been a great car 207k on the odometer and the worse thing I had to do was a head gasket. No other issues with regular maintenance and well worth the price of keeping the car on the road.
Running it in my Subaru outback 2.5 with 50k miles. I noticed a difference in the first 1k miles.
Better compression and better mileage (2 to 3 mpg!) a lot quieter!
Also running it in Subaru outback 2.4 turbo with 30k miles. A bit better. Not huge. But noticing.
Also a lot quieter!
My Crosstrek still has the original Yokohama tires at 77k miles sitting at 7/32".
I bought that Baja from him, put new Pirellis on it , and drove it for 85k miles for work between 2013 and 2021. Those tires are still on it in my garage, though they're definitely *done*.
Bridgestone Potenza Sports (highly recommend they’re grippy as all hell,) last 50k kms on the Levorg the Liberty eats them in 25k-30k kms.
I replaced my stock tires with Michelin Defender 2’s. They seem pretty good so far (in Eastern Canada).
ever since about 80k miles I have to reset the car’s computer every few months because the CVT transmission starts making rough “shifts.”
I just did this. Most of the items Subaru said were "broken" were in fact, not broken. Some were just worn but still in good condition. They also wanted to replace my timing belt, the same one THEY REPLACED LAST YEAR.
Wife has a crack in her 2025 Forester before her first payment. It has continued to grow and she is on the waiting list for a windshield. Several hundred ahead of her. Something is amiss with the glass
