Update: it was just the battery, everything works fine after replacement and coding/adaptation. No error codes. Thanks everyone
Reviews of spare parts for Volkswagen
You pretty much have to have your heat and fan set to max on your windshield with your wipers going constantly. That’s how I managed to keep my wipers from freezing up in a winter storm. And this was with a Volkswagen Jetta.
I have been impressed with the Pirelli Scorpio and Sam's Club most of the time have them on sale. I don't have a Mazda yet but on my Atlas they have been better than the OEM Khumo and the previous set of Michelin I had. Smooth ride, quiet and great in wet and snowy conditions.
Ive been using 0w40 mobil1. Had 2 jetta one 2011 wasn’t deleted car went till 502k km till it got hit into a ditch
The Weather Techs I bought for my mk7 GTI had the problem around the gas pedal, the ones I bought for the 8.5 R cover that area very well. I am happy with them, and happy not to give Bezos any more of my money. Buy direct from an American company.
Bosch Icons are second to none.
That said, I have a '22 SE that has 53,000 miles. The rear brake pads failed at 23,000 miles.
I also installed new KYB shocks (which seem to make the car sit rather high in my opinion).
Fram is junk. Stick with OE/OEM.
No, fram is the worst possible oil filter brand. They are restrictive, cheap, Chinese crap. I've seen them come fresh out the box with gaps in the metal. I've seen videos of people cutting open un used filters and finding surface rust.
