I thought the OEM wiper blades were terrible. I replaced them with Bosch, which has never disappointed.

Safelite put an OEM VW branded windshield in a year ago. No issues so far
I am no sure 100% what caused the original P2111 error (throttle body stuck open) but with the new (used) throttle body no more error codes.

I have a 22 Tiguan and did the first oil change myself around 5K miles. This is what I ended up using. I found it locally so that was a plus, Mobil 1™ ESP X2 0W-20 .
If this pump wasn’t leaking, I doubt it would have run properly. Some parts weren’t moving freely.… the governor collar needed to be pried off, lubed, and exercised to slide normally. Advance piston was also frozen.
I've been putting in Castrol Full Sythnetic 5W30 in my 2.8VR6 for 13 years and I've been told the engine is in great condition (264,000 km).
Our 2018 came with the 20" Contis and from new, there's been a vibration at highway speeds. Had all four wheels balanced twice and it didn't completely go away, and the second time the dealer tech said one of the tires was slightly out of round.
I have to literally remove the nose of my B5 1.8T Passat to get at my water pump. Second one in 110,000 miles.
My mk6 went through THREE water pumps. All covered under warranty because a class action lawsuit forced VW to extend the coverage period several years, but still a pain in the ass. What's frustrating is that VW kept replacing them with the same faulty pump instead of addressing the problem and redesigning it.
