If you're planning under 400tq, I'd go for the SPEC clutch kit that re-uses the dual mass flywheel to keep the drivability and ease of use.
Reviews of spare parts for Volkswagen
Went with the Continental DW06 since I had them on the GTI. Night and Day from the Summer Tires, much better for driving around town.
Have been running them a year on my MK4 R32 with my 17z BBK upgrade and they stop great, haven\u2019t faded on me in the mountains, very low dust, no squealing.
Before my 22 Tiguan SE R Line died from oil issues I put 4 new Pirelli AS Plus 3 tires from Mavis Tire. I liked the tires for the time I had them before October when I got rid of the car.
I decided to replace mine with GoodYear ComfortDrive tires. I felt that they best fit this type of vehicle and the Tiguan is the same just smaller. There was a very noticeable difference. Tires are silent and much more comfortable the way it soaks up the bumps and road imperfections. They perform excellent in the rain and have a lot of grip.
I went with the Crossclimate 3 Sport myself, and very happy so far. Haven\u2019t seen proper snow yet, but then we very rarely do where I live in Germany. Great in cold and wet conditions, and WAY better than a true winter tire when conditions are more favorable.
As an EBC Red owner myself. These pads are not built for abuse. Like at all. They're a sporty street pad at best.
Replaced the ignition switch with OE VW Installed a brand new Bosch starter today due to the battery terminal on the solenoid breaking off internally Thought the new starter would be the answer, but no
My ‘08 Passat Variant ... decided to die on me because of a faulty ECU… while driving. The car literally died in my hands. No power, no steering, no brakes, no electrics, no nothing.
The only issue is the reliability. Water pump failures are common.
