Pretty sure it had original plugs in it, replaced those with some autolites that were on sale, soon to put champion coppers in it though (personal preference).
Finally got around to doing this and i can say it did eliminate my bulb out error for rear fog so definitely happy not having to see that light
i have them on my 1998 Golf GTI What i have used since 3 months: ... R1 concepts brake discs (not a famous brand but really nice discs) And then it's plug and play. Pedal feel is very good and it brakes very good!

I like the nitto 555r but smallest they have is 245/50r16.. would that fit on a 16x7 rim?
Best oil IMO is Castrol 10w40 high mileage part synthetic, usually good specials at local auto parts stores and Walmart.

I have heard you can run manual steering equipped canadian mk3 tie rod arms/rods. Part#'s: 1H0 419 803 ... left side 1H0 419 804 .... right Last time I checked they were quite pricey.
personally, I think Amsoil AFL is junk. They ruined a stout oil when they reformulated it to mimick 505.01.
