i use prestone dex cool. (for the coolant) it says its made for GM cars but i use it and it kicks ass.

Here's my review of the Koni FSD / Weitec 30mm (1.2\") lowering springs setup. Cliffs notes: Koni FSDs & 1.2\" lowering springs (Eibach, Weitec, whatever) are the muthaf&^kin' bomb. Buy 'em if you're looking for the best handling (not looking) setup for a Mk IV. Koni isn't full of crap. These dampers work exactly as advertised. They have excellent small bump sensitivity, dispatching railroad tracks, cobblestone roads, and cracks in the pavement with muted thuds. The car sails over bumps that would rattle my teeth with the Bilsteins. What is WEIRD is that despite this smoothness, there is little loss of communication through the steering wheel, and absolutely no increase in squat, dive, or roll vs. the Bilsteins. The added travel due to less lowering has made the car less jittery on bumpy corners as well. In short, it is fabulous. Very trackable, and probably better for road courses than the Bilsteins.
I have the same tires on my Golf, we had 15\" of snow last week and the car behaved wonderfully. I only got stuck once, in my driveway because I was snow plowing. I've taken my car up to Mt. Baker a few times and was able to drive on snow and some ice.
To the OP, though the mfg recommends against using the AGX with lowering springs I have been very very happy with them on my MK IV wagon. Ride quality is basically OEM only becoming slightly harsher on MAJOR impacts ie, big ass potholes, NJ quality expansion joints. And this is with H&R Sports mind you.
fk coilovers, VR6 top mounts, eibach anti roll bars, powerflex bushes all round, strut braces front and rear, audi tt front brake callipers and carriers, brembo 312mm cross drilled front discs, brembo cross drilled rear discs, mintex fast road pads all round. goodridge brake hoses all round.
I was able to tighten the top of the shocks down using this method http://www.purems.com/products/page.php?pageKey=23 It stopped them from making noise and solved the problem with my hood.
Yup...did the same thing...cut grommet away...but I was changin the valve cover gasket at the same time.
I'm running 255/40-17 RT615s on 17x8 ET35. This is on a "regular" MK4, not an R32. It should not be an issue, the additional grip provided over 225/235 is noticeable.
I have an OE replacement filter in my GTi. Can I tell a difference? Not much in the GTi
I have difficulty seeing through my windsheild when heavy rain is hitting the car while driving. The wipers do no not clear the water fast enough and there seems to be some sort of film that clouds up the glass.
