Using an AMAM coolant (typically yellow - “All Makes, All Models”) is the safest thing you can do. It has none of the nitrites, borates, silicates, etc. that can cause issues in various systems. It’s really one coolant that works everywhere. Peak 10X is a solid choice in that realm.
Reviews of spare parts for Volvo
Well I definitely wouldn't have gone aftermarket but I understand you might have been in a pickle

As far as why it's not working at all, you need very good clean connections including good ground connections everywhere
I use Zimmerman rotors on my XC60 and her BMW. Excellent bang for buck in my opinion. Don’t like brembo pads for the dust, use Akebono on BMW, Alebono or Volvo pads on Volvo for dust control.
I have an xc90 which is also awd. Had a screw in the side and they just replaced that tyre. I only use continental which have excellent wear. I think the current set is at 80,000km
I had these on my V90 for 3 years. Fantastic all-season tire that worked great in the snow during ski trips. Pretty quite at highway and wore great. If not driving in snow/ice I think it's overkill but 100% would buy again.
I drove my 2012 V50 from late 2021~165 000km to present day 300 000km with skf discs and pads with no problem. Ordered a new set from Aeromotors (EU, EST) ~70€.
I’m starting to suspect the throttle body itself (Italian-made Magneti Marelli) might be the culprit and is simply worn out. I’ve already ordered a new one, so I’ll see if that makes a difference.
I put some Brembo prime pads on my S80 I had them on before and were pretty solid, until they were about 80% worn and braking performance fell off a cliff Put new prime pads all round and for the first 2k miles they were amazing, very sharp brake feel but again performance started to degraded noticeably From cold they're crap, after about 5 minutes of driving when they warm up they bite as they should, also dust like mad, I left a 3 star review on AutoDoc and they gave me a full refund citing this could be a potential warranty issue, although I reckon that's them not wanting bad reviews on their site I'm probably going to go for Bosch next as that's the OEM Volvo use
We put a set of these on our 05 XC70 last year. 11K miles later they are down to 4/32 - 5/32. The tread wear is indeed terrible on these.
I took my brand new 2025 XC40 Ultra in for a voluntary safety recall for an intermittent rear view camera not available issue this Friday morning. The software update failed, they gave me no explanation, and now my car is in the shop until at least Monday with no reassurance when I’ll get it back. The software and support has been disappointing to say the least.
