Head gasket is a good start and a great outcome given the alternatives.

The Cherokee Trailhawk has “lifetime brakes”, I sold mine at 100k miles and still had the original pads and rotors with about ton of life left.
I’m at 180k with my 2018 compass. 2 sets of sway bar links and 1 new set of brakes and that’s all I’ve invested in it so far. Still running great!!!
Factory Jeep JK shocks, the basic black ones work really well for about 3" of lift on the XJ.
head gaskets blown on my 3.6 a few days ago. $3k. Not stoked. Have 193k miles. So not bad I guess.
Had no major problems other than dead battery at the 5 year mark. Now have 40k miles on it and still runs fine.
My jeep did the same thing. Turned out to be my head gasket.
I'm now over 9k, and the dealer is saying the alternator is shot. This Gladiator is bone stock with the exception of cosmetic additions. Lame.
upon arriving at the dealer for the test drive, it wouldn\u2019t crank.. they said the alternator went bad.
156K on 2020. Go through front rotors every 15000 miles!
