I've had the original wiper blades on my 2020 and I still have not replaced them. Exactly what is trash about them? I thought that they've been the greatest wiper blades I've ever used outside of the Mercedes wiper blades.

I use the Mercedes blue stuff. 3 years and zero growth or anything with it. Still quite clean.
First round of work yesterday - plugs/wires/coils/airfilters + cps, valve cover gaskets, an oil change and windshield wiper washers. Was definitely time for new plugs.
They're not really that expensive from the dealership, and I haven't found any that are quite as good.
w203's have this little deflector wing that only exists on the OEM blade to reduce wind noise. Others have a sticker that tells you when the blade is ready to change (goes from green to yellow to red). I think they are pretty neat, and worth the $40 you'll pay for a set at the dealership.
Menurut gua drawbacknya cuman di matic. Dibanding dengan maticnya E39 gua aja, masih jauh lebih alus E39 gua. Apalagi kalo belom sampe operating temp, ganti giginya suka kasar (tapi ga sampe ngejedug). Di tol pun juga kadang2 kaya maticnya suka bingung. Ketika lagi coasting, dan gua mau injek gas, tiba2 si matic nya mau turun gigi. Karena gua mau ngegas, jadilah dia kaya kaget gitu jadi shifting nya ga smooth. Yang anehnya lagi paddle shiftnya. Kalo turun gigi di tol, itu kayak ga pernah smooth gitu, tapi ga se kasar matic rusak juga. Dan kalo gua tanya2 di grup dan di forum, memang matic nya W211 yang pre facelift ini rada tolol. Lucunya, temen gua ada yang udah megang W211 10 tahun, dan menurut dia matic gua jauh lebih alus daripada punya dia. On the bright side... maticnya katanya badak banget.
Io personalmente (a meno che non sia in viaggio altrove) faccio carburante sempre nello stesso distributore di fiducia…indifferentemente dai costi. Conosco di persona chi ci lavora e questo mi rende sereno per quel che concerne la qualità del carburante.
Coincidenza o meno le uniche due volte negli ultimi 2 anni che ho fatto carburante altrove (ero in vacanza in Puglia) mi si sono inchiodati gli iniettori= 1750 euro per revisionarli.
We had an W211 and it was awesome, except of course for the whole brake recall fiasco. Thankfully Mercedes eventually sorted that.
Years ago when I worked at the green guys, I went through 5 alternators for my W126 Mercedes with the 4.2 V8. It was like it would work for a month or two and then shit out.
I’ve had it 3.5 years and it just started doing the “Stop Vehicle Leave Engine Running” thing about a month ago.
