If you are replacing the alternator, strongly recommend using only Honda dealer sold remanufactured alternators (probably Denso) or an aftermarket Denso brand remanufactured alternator. Lots of problems reported with other brands.

You need to try using a OEM REMAN or OEM NEW alternator. Aftermarket items can really affect BSD.

From my experience with replacing Honda alternators, I always go OEM.
After installing it, all of the intermittent electrical issues disappeared. my car had a 120A valeo, total b!tch to get out even with the front end removed, hard to get the ground wire off, will put the new one on in the AM
When I lived in walking distance of a 24-hour AutoZone, there seemed to be more people waiting in line to get their lifetime-warranted DuraLast alternators replaced than for battery replacements.
So I bought a new alternator off of Rock Auto that I was amazed that I had to re-use my old pulley? But when I went to put the pulley on, the nut stripped on the new alternator like instantly. The whole ordeal is trash
