I used Delphi pads which I regard as quite high quality. The existing pads were Pagid. I replaced the pads as the braking didn't seem right to me, bad shudder, squealing and just didn't seem precise? Wow what a difference it has made. No noise, pedal is firmer and the shudder has all but gone. The existing pads were not badly worn I would say 55% front 35% rear? But they didn't look good very grainy and cracked. I don't really know Pagid never used them, maybe there was some issue but I don't think I will be using them again.

I have always ran DIXCEL Z on all my cars. Extremely quiet once you bed them in and has a temp range of 0-850°C with a friction coefficient of 0.67. They're just a bit dusty.
Project Mu Club racers front and rear will cost the same as just the XP10 fronts. Then use powerstop Z16 for the street, super low dust. Same rotors for both.
XP for track use and 1521 for street. No need to rebed pads. Just swap and go. Carbotech says this and I’ve head zero issue myself doing this
I run Hawk HPS 5.0 on the street and just pad slap DTC-60 / 30 front / rear and it works fine.

Lastly, I had the well-known brake pad deposit problem on the rotors, which over time (about 5-6k miles for me) would cause the steering wheel and car to shake a bit when breaking, similar to the feeling you get when the rotors are warped. I had the rotors cut once, then all four rotors and pads replaced, and then the front rotors were replaced again. As many other Stinger owners online have said, once they replaced the stock rotors and pads with a good set of aftermarket rotors and pads, or some even just machining their stock rotors and getting new aftermarket pads, that seems to have solved the issue for them.
We had a red one when I was a kid. Red with black interior. We put some 90s appropriate chrome wheels on it. Tons of good memories cruising around in that thing. I thought it looked so good, but it had the smaller V6 so it was dog slow and the brakes were terrible.
