Ive had my car enter limp mode multiple times on a high 80 track days. Coolant temp would spike to the 3/4 marks. When I upgraded the radiator to a koyorad I never had issues again.

I am here to say the Koyorad fits perfectly fine with Cobb’s charge pipe. The upper radiator hose had to be completely taken out to get the pass side fan installed but no trimming or cutting of fan shroud. The radiator looks amazing as well.
Experienced a full separation of the top (and possibly bottom) plastic from the aluminum portion - would leak about as fast as I could pour it in. Replaced with Koyorad A2807 from RockAuto.com for $104 plus tax and shipping. Nominal time to repair for a non-mechanic is probably 4-to-6 hours - call it a day project.
My '09 had the bad number, so I bought a Koyo radiator and spent an afternoon swapping it all. That was ~6-7 years ago.
got a Koyorad off Rock Auto for around $100 and slapped it in there. Runs like a champ. It is a pretty easy job if you're mechanically inclined.
Better cooling, and made in South Africa.
Koyo radiator is the move, it’s all aluminum, no plastic to worry about, the drain plug is legit and there’s a port to add a coolant temp sensor if you want gauges. It has an extra row for better heat exchange and dissipation my only complaint is there’s no aftermarket specific dual cooling fan set up which I feel would do wonders for cooling the engine bay at idle .
I ran one for 6 years half of which being turbo. The mounts are known to fail so you want to make your own or keep an eye on them. Both sides failed on mine but Mishimoto’s customer service is top tier and they sent me a brand new unit (whole radiator NIB even though only mounts failed) no questions asked. The drain plug is also known to snap if you over tighten it. Again, they sent me a brand new unit when that happened.
The towing package radiator is 1" thick if I recall, I have used rockauto.com to find the radiator. The last one I bought was a Denso, I haven't had great luck with non-OEM radiators not leaking. There was one I bought that only lasted w years.
This new radiator expect to fail within 1 year warranty or 1 day after warranty runs out. Original OEM was Valeo Made in Brazil, went 22 years. It cracked from pulling on upper hose to see timing mark on flywheel.
