Shock absorbers Monroe or Sachs
Just changed my rear ones with the Sachs M-Sport. I love the right height and any lower is a problem where I live.
Shock Absorber is always a good thing to a lot while you're thinking about it.
For me Sachs is the way to go for original quality and driving dynamics. I have Sachs on all 4 corners on both my W124s and they are great.
BUT op if I were you, I'd replace just the shocks (keep the Sachs springs) and replace with OE Sachs shocks (struts) Bilstien also makes yellows with OE ride height i believe, that would be the best street ride quality.
Am montat pe 2 masini diferite (O2 si O2 FL) monroe respectiv kyb si nu observ nicio diferenta intre ele. Ambele sunt ok si la confort si la stabilitate.
I just installed Sachs shocks, and I love the ride
I've had a number of BMWs and VWs with Sachs shocks leak after 40-50k miles. It's not like they totally fail and collapse, they just start having much slower rebound and faster compression.
They put on new oem Sachs shocks, which are too soft.
Had new Monroe shocks on my tag axle and they failed within a month take that for what you will.
We installed some Monroe OE spectrum shocks on a car on Friday due to parts delivery issues with the kyb shocks. Today we're taking the Monroes off and installing the kybs due to noise.
