Tires Falken or Goodyear
Got some back in August to replace my dying General grabbers, and have been incredibly happy with them. Most of my driving is on road, but the few times I’ve been able to get out on dirt they have seemed to perform very well. As far as road driving the handle great, and aren’t very noisy.
Wildpeaks. I daily the at3w on my gx470 and they have zero road noise and great handling and comfort. I also do some moderate offroading and they do great.
One of the best tires I ever had on my xterra. When my pirellis wear out, I'll probably go back to the wildpeaks
I ran Nitto SN2 on my old Accord. They don't make them in stock size for my 2018 Sport. I went with Goodyear Winter Command Ultras. They were on sale, available in my size, in stock and had a $100 rebate to boot. So far so good.
9th gen on Goodyear wintercommand. Really like them for the past 40k, I’ll put a new set on next year.
Falken Wildpeak AT4W mounted on stock 20 inch wheels. You are going to have slightly more road noise. Overall they feel smoother.
Haven't have a bad thing to say about wranglers, got some on our 93 k2500 suburban
I have Falkens now, and am considering the Geolanders because they do slightly better in the rain. I'm not sure which is better in the snow. The Falkens have been fantastic in the snow, as you probably know, but I find traction isn't great on wet roads.
I didnt have this issue when I was using Michelin X-ice last winter, it was cheaper but I feel its much better.
Falken Eurowinter hs449 is overrated or just plain fake reviews. I slip when gas/brake and even on some turns. What make me feel bad is other cars are driving faster / braking harder and turning faster then me. I look like I got summer tires on.
Strongly not recommended this.
I was considering CC2 vs. Wildpeak A/T Trails. I went with the latter and regret it. I do 100% of my driving on streets and chose the Wildpeaks because of aesthetics. I took a 2-3mpg hit to an already inefficient car.
