Tires MICHELIN or Pirelli
They have a slightly different speed rating (Y vs. W) due to whatever the differences in the compound they use are. This can mean that they'll wear differently to the 2 other tyres you've got on the vehicle, but realistically it probably won't make a huge/noticeable difference.
I’ve got Pirelli Sotto Zero snow tires. Rated comparably to Blizzaks. Do fantastic in snow; we had a foot in NE Ohio and I was silly enough to go out during it. Was fine.
I have the Michelin CrossClimate 2s on my car. Amazing tire, I love the handling but they are LOUD.
I live in Michigan and we have gotten ~5-6" that have lingered and drifted over the past 10ish days. I haven't had a single issue or even a scare with Michelin Cross Climate 2's (all season and not even a winter tire). It's hard to describe but I thought our driveway would be my most challenging area. It's gravel and I have to make a slightly uphill and tight u-turn while backing out of my garage to use the turn around. It made light work of it and actually pushed some snow as I was making my way down to the road. It's been great for me.
I'm in New England and got Michelin CrossClimate 2's for the winter (PS4S in the summer). They're fantastic! I also considered getting Blizzaks, but 90% of my winter driving ends up being on cold, wet roads, and the CC2 are superior for that.
Put LTXs on my 2015 460 and never looked back. Once got 90,000 on a Ranger truck with those tires
Here in the UK I replaced mine about 2 years after the last set were installed. Car averages about 11000 miles per year. The previous ones were Bridgestone Alenza I think. I went with the Pirelli P Zero NCS for the 22 inch rims. I cant tell if they are quieter but handle well.
They rebalanced the OEM Continentals with some improvement, but they still vibrated. I replaced the tires at 36k with Pirrellis (sp?). Some improvement with the vibration but still.
Blizzaks are way better than xice. I’ve had like 5 sets of blizzaks. Last year I decided to try xice. Regretting that decision everytime it snows.
I did the pirelli EV tires. So expensive, minimal gains over Michelin or others. Don't do it just don't do it. I'm not convinced EV tires aren't just another way to upcharge for tires.
