I was taken aback by their behavior in snow. I had impeccable traction in snow this weekend. I was thinking about replacing my Michelin's with Cooper AT3 4s's because I do some medium off roading but I think I'm gonna hold on to the Michelin's for now.
Put these in my 2018 GX last month. Silky smooth on the highway and great on snow.
I love them as well. Best tires I've had overall. Last year and the year before I took them in unplowed 5 inches of snow and it was stable up to about 40mph. Never slipped or gave any hint of less than total control. Brilliant in rain and resisting aquaplaning and smooth and quiet in the dry.
Had a set of LTX AT2 tires go nearly 70k on a pickup. Put them on my last GX and will put some on my black line whenever the time comes. Great tires.
I only have positive things to say about these tires. I have 40k miles on mine and plenty of tread left
Best tires for the GX IMO. Smooth and silky on the highway and very capable off-road. In rain and snow, they hold their own.
FWIW, Tire Rack tests showed that Pilot Sport A/S 4 had a big impact on EV efficiency.
I switched from the factory turanza summer tires to Michelin snow tires and saw my average drop by 0.5. I usually see 2.1-2.5 with snow tires vs 2.9 with summers.
They are loud and don’t ride particularly well. Grip is good but it’s definitely a compromise. I think their marketing is just really good and they are not worth the compromise. I would always just run a dedicated touring set and dedicated winters.
Noisy AF after 30k miles, I thought my wheel bearings were bad. Won’t be buying them again.
