Tires MICHELIN or WEST LAKE
Good ones, currently Michelins, on all 4 wheels. They cost about the same, last about as long, and handle almost as well as my good all-seasons. So I'm paying for mounting and balancing, and a small gas mileage hit.
We just put a set of these on our V90 CC a couple months ago, and so far I’ve been loving them. Very grippy in dry or wet conditions. Haven’t driven them in snow yet, but I live in upstate NY and will certainly get the chance soon enough. They are much softer ride and quieter than the Pirelli scorpions.
I love these tires. The tread pattern is ugly and you can’t rotate them side to side but they will handle anything. Are cleared for mountain passes and even perform well through the limited spirited driving I do in my V60cc. When time comes to replace them it will be with another set of the same.
I've had Crossclimates on my old M3P and my MY so wanted to put them on the new M3P. I still would have preferred A/S Crossclimates over two sets of wheels/tires that are Pirellis.
Ive never had such a great experience in the rain
I got rid of the staggered tires and went to 19” all around. 255/45ZR19 104Y Michelin Pilot Sport all season 4 tires on TSportline TS5 wheels. Ride is softer and easy to rotate as well as lower cost for replacements.
I ran them for a decade on my old M135i. They’re great tyres, if a little compromised compared to the newer generation. They’re not great in the wet or cold, and the performance does start to drop off before you get to the legal tread depth minimum.
I have Defenders and one of them is defective. Chunks coming off.
