I was the 1st person install Koni SA shocks on a NA Miata. They have adaptive valving. Made my 96 handle live a Maserati. Awesome shock for The Miata. Sticks like a Geco!!!! Rides like a dream
Reviews of spare parts for Mazda
I bought the shocks. They're good, very happy with them. Setting 1 is basically stock, though was better controlled with what I had. Setting 8 is noticeably firmer - allows much quicker inputs. Currently have them on 3/8 all around and car is balanced - maybe about as firm as an NB RS.
I ran the Hawk HP+, and had no complaints. Never did a whole lot of hard driving, but they held up in short bursts and were good for daily driving.
My current favorite is valvoline 5w30 full synthetic. There are oil analysis of new that show it has a high 100 C viscosity and it has a ton of really good additives.
My ‘94’s horn died several years ago. I found one from an RX7 as a replacement and it sounds much better/louder.
The gallon of Castrol is the same whether you buy it at CT or Napa.
You’ll be fine, idemitsu is a bit of a rotary specialist when it comes to fluids
I had the same issue with a 2016 CX5. Dealer overfilled the oil. Drove home20 minutes at 30-40 mph with no problems. The next morning my wife got on the highway and the dash lit up like a christmas tree. Smoke from the exhaust and oil residue from the tailpipes and on the rear hatch. Let the car sit for about an hour and drove back to dealership at low speed. They drained and changed the plugs. Still have the vehicle. No lasting effects on the engine. It does need a converter.
Yup we got one on our 2023 GT within 3 weeks. Got another one about 5 months later. Seems to be a weak windshield?
I had four stone chips in the last 18 months. Two in the span of just six days last month. The luck of the Irish for my windshield indeed on the CX-5.
