My 2020 prime got 65k out of originals. The Michelin defenders though i get an average of 130k.
Wtf I have 2022 Prius prime with 89,000 miles and the dealer said tires are still good at my last checkup, yes I'm the original owner mine are Toyo tires
On my 2002 Prius it's more annoying if it's running for no reason than when it cuts off. Typically as soon as I lift my foot off the accelerator pedal, I'm under 41 mph, and I'm not running the heat or AC too heavily, the engine instantly stops.
I'm on my second one, a '19 Prius Prime I bought new has 507k miles on it today. About to do the first brake job on it soon.
New struts are on the way for my 225k 2006 Prius.
Around it for a little over 5 months and it's got to be easily one of the favorite cars I've ever owned.
Super simple to work on and so reliable I love this thing!
Only other issue I can think of is that the coolant control valve is making the noises of it being on its way out. No code yet but I'm just waiting.
My 2008 just rolled to 194k and has the original battery as far as I know. I've put 42k miles on it and have only changed fluids and filters. I did replace all 4 struts but half the reason was I installed a lift kit, other half was some consistent funny wear on a rear tire. Replaced an axle since I damaged the threads. Replaced the sway bar links because they were seized to the struts. It's been a great little unit.
2012 Prius, 202k miles, still with original brakes.
2017 Prius Prime, 110k miles, still with original brakes.
Both inspected annually by our mechanic. Both still going strong.
I did Gabriel struts/shocks on both gen3 prii. Would recommend.
You can add distilled water as a temporary option if you can't find Toyota pink coolant.
On the Gen 2 Prius that have been several reports of Pennzoil Platinum full synthetic consuming oil much quicker, me included.
