I ran them on my 2015 Jetta 1.8T and they were legit. Stopped hard, felt good and smooth. Only gripe was the brake dust but the pads lasted forever (something close to 50k miles).
Reviews of spare parts for Volkswagen
I just replaced my AC Compressor on my VW Beetle with a Nissens from RockAuto. I also had the Dryer and Expansion Valve replaced, it works perfect now.
Clubsport brakes are much stiffer in feel with an immediate grab in comparison to the bone stock GTI. Though I'll stand by the stoptech ST40's that I ran on my old Mk7 as being a better feeling and performing setup tbh.
Michelin Pilot Alpin 5
Both oils are very good as long as they meet the 502.00 VW specifications. I'm in FL and I use 5w-40 pennzoil euro for all my turbo VWs.
So I bought an injector machine. Flow tested the injectors found out my 440's were really 380's. Swapped out 3bar for a 4bar fpr. Runs a bit better.
Just did mk7 gti and my mk8 golf R with that HU 6013 Z.
All good
Just swapped my fronts again at ~43K. Used VW rotors this time, pads are just fine/have tons of life left. It really comes down to pad deposits from my wife's driving this only around town/short trips and being an early braker.
The water pumps are plastic. Heat and plastic don’t go well together. My MK6 has had at least 3 water pumps and sitting at 120k.
It was a LEMFORDER and thats why I went for this part. So got the car up got both disconnected and off. Tried to put the one that I got that is 191 411 315B on but no way.
