I put a Bosch horn from a '68 Mercedes 250SE in my Rabbit. Sounds like an "old" car and has a unique awesome tone. I used the lo-tone one (bought the pair) and sold the other Bosch hi-tone on eBay for $115 They cost me $6 for the pair at a junkyard; got lucky.

Fiamm Freeway Blaster Horn #3830. This horn generates a shattering 132 decibels and will likely get just about anybody’s attention. I had two of these horns on my old '79 street Rabbit.
I run HP+ now on the jetta and they scream when cold, I could care less, they stop really well when you need it.
I have Powerslot Rotors. Hawk HP+ pads. SS brk lines.
The guy came out and did a fine job installing the new windshield - Pilkington glass.
The battery is very clean and the original Varta and the box is in tact. Car has about 42K on it, and has been in service for less than 3 yrs.
havem in my r32 with an HID kit and they look incredible
Well, I was talking abou OEM rotors with DS2500 pads, not OEM pads. I replaced the stock pads after 30k wich was reasonable but DS2500s have much higher friction coeff.
I just did the chains + headgasket and a bunch of other misc stuff on my Corrado earlier this year. My guides were worn pretty bad and it only had 120k on the clock.
I had a set of Mintex Red Boxes on my '98 GTI-VR6. Other than producing less dust (or a less-visible dust), I thought they were garbage. The stock pads stopped and felt better.
