Hawk HPS brake pads
Reviews of spare parts for Volkswagen
Our OEM Kumho Crugens are around 4/32” at 54,000 miles. We have found them to be just fine, quiet and smooth with no punctures or other incidents.
We have a 2023 AWD Pro S with the same tires. We just replaced at 30k. They probably could have gone another 5k or so, but one tire had a slow leak and they wouldn’t even try to repair it due to age of the tire. We got the same tires again at Discount/Americas Tire because they seemed fine
I went APR, bought a SAI filter on ebay 25mm inlet and put that on for $3 instead of the $20 APR one. Sound is really fun. Some people online have reported some turbo inlet seal issues causing the oil that pools there to leak out. The few other owners I've asked in my local VW scene haven't come across this. I have not come across such issues but I've only had it on about 1000km in a month.

I've used pentosin E for full flushes of two Golfs (2015 and 2017). No issues. Prior to that, I used it for topping off. It's the right stuf being G13 regardless of slight color variation pink/purple.
2019 atlas (built 11/18) it had the water pump dine around 60k, nothing else engine wise, just rolled 95k.
I used Castrol oil and was not satisfied but this oil till date has helped alittle with consumption as well.
Mine are now just under 9k wear and have become noisey AF. Not to mention they seem to grip less and less as they get used. On a 2015 GTI and I have the car aligned twice a year with winter/summer seasons tire swaps. New they were awesome.
I installed rear DBA ceramic pads and rear TRW ceramic discs last weekend and after a week I’m seeing these aggressive scratch channels circled in red. I do hear a constant scraping while driving without braking.
