I had a 2016 accord sport that i just sold with over 200k miles. It has all its original belts, water pump, valves, thermostats, and sensors. The only major thing i changed was the alternator. I did regular maintenance and fluid changes with no issues and of course batteries, brakes, and rotors.

My 2017 Kia Soul has 226,500 miles on the body and I have had none of these problems except my alternator died a few months ago but it had 220,000 miles on it.
Just buy a reman denso
Ok, so it's a toyota so odds are it's a denso or denso style alternator. I used to rebuild Alternators, you will need access to test certain parts like the regulator, or diode trio, or the windings to see where it's failing.
I can\u2019t make out the sound but once upgraded the alternator on my 29 roadster pu that had a late model bronco v6 in it and the darn thing sounded like I had a super charger with the whirling. Crazy sound but ran perfectly fine for as long as I had the truck (years).
I got a TYC off Rockauto and it’s kind of annoying that it will sometimes drop in and out of charge at idle ever since I replaced it but other than that it has been working for a year and 26,500 miles so far. It had way less copper winding material and was lighter weight than the stock unit which the oem is clearly superior.
I’ve had two D/L Alternators. Each has lasted 3 or 4 years.
Die neueren Generatoren sind heute noch Müll (Haltbarkeit). Musste ich erst in meinem A6 erleben (der zu meinem Glück noch auf Garantie ging). Im RS6 gehen die Dinger auch am laufenden Band flöten.
I've gone through 3 Nissan Value Advantage Alternators (through the Infiniti dealership - warranty) for my Q. All Infiniti offers for my year (2015) are Remanufactured Alternators. I'm tired of Remans.
I bought an aftermarket bosch alternator, (new not refurbished) and after installing the pulley to 80NM (black part), I noticed a wobble and a brushing sound. The original alternator does not have this brushing sound.
