ATE Brake fluid

For our light weight cars, ATE Typ 200 is good for basically all applications, up until you’re getting into high horsepower builds (motor swaps, high boost forced induction).

Pros: good for all applications
Cons: not for high horsepower

ATE Brake fluid

ATE Original TYP 200 is the GOAT. Look at the wet pointing point: 388F for ATE. 401F for Motul. An extra 13F isn't worth the price difference.

Pros: great performance, good value

It’s dirt cheap and holds up well. I’ve used it for track duty for years with regular changes and no issues.

Pros: dirt cheap, holds up well, no issues

I've used Endless RF650 and their MX72+ pads. I have never had any sort of braking issues or fade using the combination. I've ran it both in my S2000 and now miata, really good fluid.

Pros: no braking issues, no fade, really good fluid

Although our shop use(s) BG products, the latest recall on 2005-2007 Odyssey master cylinders is due to the usage of BG DOT4 brake fluid (10-069) deteriorating the master cylinder main seal.

Cons: deteriorating master cylinder seal
Vehicle: Honda Odyssey
Part number: 10-069
