Owner reviews for spark plug
I bought my 2019 330i in 2022. It was a lease return. While basic maintenance items are a lot more than, let’s say, a Toyota, it has been far from a money pit. I have put 50k miles on it in the three years I’ve had it, and had nothing out of the ordinary go wrong. Spark plugs, brake pads, air filters, tires, oil changes, that’s it.
I got a sp series cold air intake and ecs performance ignition coils with bosch spark plugs. I once ran this car with 3 spark plugs for to much time and almost no oil at one point too.
I went with NGK plugs and coil packs at about 95k miles on my 2.5. I'm about 40k miles later and. It's still running great.
Only things other than oil changes and brakes have been spark plugs at 100k and 200k, fuel injector at 120k, transmission fluid at 200k, and ac compressor clutch at 230k. 2012 automatic
There is no risk, EQT specifically recommends them. Been running denso 5749s for over 40k miles and change them every 10k. Send it.
So i just ordered a pack of 4s (the left one is from Denso Japan) from a local distributor carrying Denso spark plugs and of the 4, 3 are made in China and 1 is made in Japan. Comparing them side by side, the China ones definitely look subpar to the naked eye.
I have a 2021 Kia Sportage, I bought it brand new. I’m using a thicker oil, had my PCV valve replaced, had my fuel injector replaced, I also needed new spark plugs, because of the engine misfires.
Autolite plugs are junk. You’re better off leaving those 200k OEM plugs in it.
Throw those autolite plugs in the garbage where they belong
