this morning I went to local VW Dealership & received a new set of blades front and back. after doing a lot of driving today on roads and freeways both fast and slow in both hard rain and lighter rain\u2026the new blades, front and back are smooth as butter and very effective at sweeping away the water.

Pros: smooth as butter

I had errors on both front ABS sensors, so I replaced the sensors. That didn't fix the problem. After I did some research online many issues seemed to be tied to the throttle body, which I replaced. Nope, didn't help. I replaced the left front hub which is a pain... I finally got the old hub off and the new one installed. I still got an ABS error but this was the right front. So I replaced that hub. The ABS error went away...

Pros: ABS error went away

Cons: hub replacement is a pain

Leaks:

21 atlas with 120k here. No major issues. Just regular maintenance stuff. Replaced a leaky water pump with is a normal thing.

Pros: no major issues, regular maintenance

Cooling at speed:

I have a 2019 Atlas Highline. About 95,000 kms on it. Only major problem has been a/c condenser. Replaced under factory extended warranty. Other than that, no issues. Love the car.

Pros: no issues, love the car

I Use them for 10k oil changes for my wifes jetta ...good filter.....I buy 10 at a time......

My car started doing that at around 5000 miles. After a few visits to the dealership, they replaced all four rotors. From 60-0 miles, it would vibrate pretty badly and make humming loud noises. It was good for a few thousand miles, but it started to do it again.

Pros: good for few miles

Cons: vibrate badly, humming noises

Braking:

The only other good thing from this visit is that they measured the brake pad thickness which confirmed that I need to replace the pads soon. We are currently at 59k and the rears are in the red at 3mm while the front was at 5mm.

Pros: brake pad thickness measured

Cons: pads need replacement soon

The OEM brakes are a little meh as I’ve got the same noise issue as a lot of other Atlas owners have experienced.

Cranking:

My cousin has a 2018 Atlas and a month ago he called me and said he car wouldn't start. It'd just rapidly click. So I drove over there and gave him a jump. Still wouldn't start. So I thought maybe it's the starter motor. Called a bunch of repair shops and they said the battery is dead and needs to be replaced.

Cons: battery dead, car wouldn't start
