The answer is always red brembos!
Owner reviews for brake caliper
Personally, I love red Brembos. I think it's iconic for the brand and looks great on just about any color car.
My old Volvo S60 just had new discs and pads all round (did them with a friend)... under £250, and that included a caliper.
I think my wife's Q7 has...6 pistons in the front brake calipers. Your Honda Pilot, which is larger, has one piston per caliper.

Me: why does this mofo have hello kitty Brembos?
Wife: did you just say hello kitty... Brembos? FUCK YES
I have these exact parts installed on my Jetta TDI MKiv. Excellent fit finish and performance. Quiet smooth braking. The Wagner Calipers are particularly fine. Love the tech support from Wagner and Power Stop.
I’ve been considering new calipers for my Evo 4 (GSR) as well to replace my stock ones since they’re in pretty rough shape, but the only swap I’ve been able to find that is documented at all is the Evo 5-9 Brembos
Had both rear brake calipers seize up on mine so have a look at them and check that they're in good nick. That can happen on any car though, so it's not specific to this Volvo, but worth checking before it leaves you stranded like mine did.
Brakes. Calipers and rotors. Shop told me there was corrosion, and that spraying them with clean water in winter might help alleviate this. They de ice in winter where I live, so corrosion can be worse.
I had a brake caliper seize, which given the high usage of regen and the salty roads in NY isn't surprising. I've also had a wheel bearing go out.
