Some prices I don't know how they pull off. I got both front rotors for my Armada for $70. Added Raybestos pad set for $13. I've put around 6000 miles on my new brakes and haven't had a moment of noise or issue.
Hawk HP+ if you want to spend a little bit more and get an impressive bite force even when cold. Also suitable for street and light track duty.

I’ve gone with ceramic pads on my cars. Minimal brake dust, low brake fade, quiet.
I've always used Brembo as long as it's available. In my experience, it's always been an upgrade to use brembo branded pads and when changing cars. No noises, nice feel, predictable. I don't do any hard driving, like track days or anything, but for road trips across mountains with full loads and all types of weather, they always gave me confidence.
I do change oil and brake pads by myself for my xc60 and xc90.
I went with Hawk 5.0 pads and Zimmerman rotors on my 340i. Very happy with them.
I just slapped EBC Red pads and cross drilled rotors on mine and called it a day. So far that's been serving me well.
OEM. Though they do produce quite a bit of dust.
My front brake rotors warped at ~12K miles. I had them machined and they lasted about another 12k until I replaced them with aftermarket Centric. Those lasted ~12K miles until they warped. At this time I went back to VW OEM rotors and they lasted ~12k miles. I had the OEM's machined, but now they are warped again. Along the way I tried some aftermarket pads, and generally had problems I purchased a pair at NAPA and they were sloppy in the caliper and would shift and click when applying the brakes in reverse. Went back to OEM on the pads and have no problems.
